Finley Township WI - Town of Finley
Finley Township is located in Juneau County in Central Wisconsin, just South of Wood County’s border and just West of Lake Petenwell. In the northeastern corner is Hardwood Air-to-Ground Gunnery and Bombing Range that extends into Armenia Township as well. This area has a field along the eastern border and is mostly wooded with lots of wetlands. One of the biggest attractions to this area is all the public land. It consists of mostly Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, Central Wisconsin Conservation Area and Juneau County Forest Crop Land. By far the largest portion of it is the Wildlife Refuge. The Wildlife Refuge offers hiking, hunting, fishing at several bodies of water like Sprague – Mather Flowage aka Goose Pool, which is also known for wildlife viewing! The Town of Finley’s main road is State Highway 80 traveling North and South that cuts right through the center of the township.
