Seven Mile Creek Township WI - Town of Seven Mile Creek
Seven Mile Creek Township is located in Juneau County in Central Wisconsin between Reedsburg and Mauston. The area is mostly rolling terrain of hills and valleys with woods and small family farm fields scattered throughout the township. There are no lakes but several creeks including West Branch Big Creek, Cattail Creek, East Branch, Big Creek, Dell Creek, Little Onemile Creek (that is a class 3 trout stream) and Seven Mile Creek, in which the township was named after. The area has some public land; Bass Hollow Recreational Area, Juneau County Forest Land, Bass Hollow State Natural Area and a little sliver of Dell Creek Wildlife Area at the southeastern most border of Seven Mile Creek Township( which is mainly in Sauk County to the south). There are a couple of named rock formations Fitz Bluff, Pine Knob and Fairy Bluff. Because the area is mostly larger small family farm tracts of land, there are not many main roads other than Federal Highway 12 / State Highway 16 and County Roads K & J.
