Summit Township WI - Town of Summit
Summit Township is located in Juneau County in Central Wisconsin between Reedsburg and Mauston. The area is mostly rolling terrain of hills and valleys with some woods and lots of small family farm fields scattered throughout the township. There are no named lakes but several creeks including Stewart Creek, Crossman Creek, Gardner Creek, Spring Creek, West Branch Big Creek, Little Onemile Creek which is a class 3 trout stream. There doesn’t appear to be any type of public land located in Summit Township. There is only one named rock formation called Potato Bluff. Because the area is mostly larger small family farm tracts of land, there are not a lot of main roads other than State Highway 58, State Highway 33 and County Roads G & I.
